In the 1980's, hair metal was the biggest thing. Showy guitarists, simple drumming, and lyrics about sex, drugs, and rock-'n'-roll was the epitome of the 80's music scene. In the year 1991, however, bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden burst onto the scene, using their music as a weapon to kill hair metal as we knew it back then. That weapon was grunge rock.

Jordan is a grunge metal band from Plainfield, Illinois. Formed in September 2008 by drummer Ty Del Rose and bassist/singer Mike Polly, Jordan is heavily influenced by the 90's scene and their new guitarists Shawn Swaney and Kris Leal bring a heavy metal influence to the band. However, unlike typical bands, Jordan does not limit themselves within the bounds of their genre and will play "Whatever The Hell They Want!"

Jordan has had a rough first few months trying to find permanent members, but now, with the addition of guitarists Shawn and Kris, Jordan is ready to rock!! We are scheduled to go into the Sonic Portrait Recording Studio in early January 2009 to record our latest hit, and we are ready to do shows whenever you guys are!!
